This fish oil supplement is marketed as one that maintains the joints after exercise, which is not a benefit that is highlighted in scientific literature. Supplementation with omega-3 has, however, been seen to benefit individuals with arthritis (see this study), and has been found to reduce muscle soreness following strength training (see this study).
While Own PWR Fish Oil provides good quantities of EPA and DHA and is a good overall dosage of fish oil, the source of the fish oil is not provided, nor is the filtration method used. The EPA and DHA is delivered in the ethyl ester form, considered to be the inferior chemical form.
