Hear Our Expert's Take

Nature’s Bounty Complete Protein and Vitamin Shake Mix contains 15 grams of protein per two scoops. It is formulated with a proprietary protein blend of soy protein isolate and whey protein concentrate that also contains 6 grams of sugar. This protein blend provides all of the amino acids, 5 grams of fiber, multiple vitamins and minerals, essential fatty acids, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. This product’s nutrient blend is tailored for women.

For a protein shake, this product contains less protein than other protein powders on the market and uses a blend of plant-based and animal-based protein. It also contains more sugar relative to other protein powders. However, it does contain other vitamins and minerals which other protein powders do not.

Nature’s Bounty Protein Powder also contains filler ingredients including fructose, natural flavors, maltodextrin, and xanthan gum. The 6 grams of sugar in this blend are largely unnecessary.

Overall, this product appears to be more of a multivitamin plus some extra protein, which can be useful if you’d like to have both in one product. If you’re looking for a high-quality protein supplement however, there are other products I would recommend as a Registered Dietitian.
