Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein Powder contains 30 grams per scoop; this is on the higher end of protein content for similar protein powders. It is a gluten-free product, and it also contains 3 grams of sugar in each scoop. This protein powder uses a blend of whey isolate and concentrate, which makes it beneficial and cost-effective.
Whey-based protein powders are easily digested by most people and contain all the necessary amino acids for recovery. However, this product also contains filler ingredients like maltodextrin, natural flavors, cellulose gum, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose. These extra ingredients diminish the quality of the product.
Body Fortress’ protein powder is NSF Certified for Sport, which helps assure athletes that it is clean and free of banned substances.
Though the price is reasonable, there are better quality products available without unnecessary filler ingredients. As a Registered Dietitian, I would choose a different protein powder for my own needs, and when recommending to others.
