Aprylle Deasey
MS, RD, CDN
Registered Dietitian
Aprylle Deasey is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition. She has been a registered dietitian for 3 years, and has spent many more years in the world of nutrition and fitness starting out as a wellness coach at her local YMCA.
Nutrition education has long been Aprylle’s passion, and she strives to turn confusing nutrition science (and, many times, misinformation) into reliable, easily digestible chunks for the everyday consumer. She has spent time in the clinical sphere in long term care and acute rehab working with patients on the management of multiple chronic diseases like diabetes, dementia, and heart disease in collaboration with the medical team.
Aprylle has since returned to educating health enthusiasts, those at risk for chronic diseases, and fitness fiends about chronic disease prevention, fueling athletic performance, and ultimately achieving balance in their food and supplement choices using evidence-based nutrition science.
In her spare time, Aprylle dedicates her time to pursuing her personal training certification, hiking, and baking (cookies are her favorite!). She can be found on Instagram @theteachingdietitian.
